“This invitation has ended”
The invite is no longer on the site. Each invite is deleted 60 days after its last event, and one can also be removed sooner. Ask the person who sent it for a new link.
If you made it and the wedding is still to come, check the dates of your events: the deletion date is worked out from the last one. Make the invite again in the Wedding Invite Maker and send the new link.
“This invitation link is incomplete”
Part of the link is missing or was changed. A short link has two parts: the address, ending in /i/ and an eight-character code, and a key after the # sign. The key unlocks the invite, so without it, or with a single character different, the invite cannot be opened.
- Copy the whole link again, with Copy link in the editor or by holding the link in WhatsApp, and paste it without changing anything.
- Send it from the editor. A link typed out by hand, or cut short by an app that stops at the # sign, loses its key. Send on WhatsApp sends the link whole.
“The invitation could not be loaded”
The phone could not reach the site. Check the internet connection and open the link again. Nothing is wrong with the invite itself.
You got a long link instead of a short one
When the short link cannot be saved, because there is no connection or because too many invites were saved from the same connection within an hour, Share gives you a longer link that carries the whole invite. It works exactly the same way for guests.
Open Share again later for a short one. The difference is in changing it: a short link shows your changes when you press Update invite, while changing a detail on a long link gives you a new link to send.
You lost the editing link
Without it nobody can change the invite, which is what keeps it safe from anyone else. In the browser you made it in, the editor remembers the invite, so open the Wedding Invite Maker there first. Otherwise, make a new invite and send its link. The old link keeps working until its date passes.
The Status video has no sound, or is not made
Some browsers can make the video but not its sound. The video is then saved silent, and the editor says so. A recent Chrome or Edge on Windows, a Mac or Android makes it with sound.
If no video is made at all, download the card image and post that on your Status instead. It shows the same opening screen.
