Draft
Loading the tool… 0 of 5 parts

Getting the tool ready. On a slow connection this can take a few seconds.

This tool runs entirely in your browser and produces an estimate from the text or file you supply. It does not query an external database or index, and nothing you enter is uploaded.

How this tool works

This is a real language model, not a template. You supply a free API key from Groq, Google Gemini or OpenRouter, and your browser sends the request directly to that provider. Nothing passes through this site — we never see your key, your topic or the article.

It works in two passes. The first returns an outline you can edit, reorder or rewrite; the second writes the article against whatever outline you approved. That split exists because the outline is where a draft is won or lost, and fixing a heading takes ten seconds while fixing a finished article takes an hour.

Getting a draft worth publishing

  • Fix the outline first: a corrected structure is the difference between a generic article and a useful one. Rewrite the headings before generating.
  • Give it an audience: writing for beginners and writing for specialists produce very different drafts from the same topic.
  • Use Write more sparingly: it continues from where the draft stopped. Two or three continuations are fine; ten produce an article that repeats itself.
  • Edit before publishing: add your own experience, check every fact, and put it in your own voice. Search engines treat mass-produced unedited output as spam, and readers notice too.

Frequently Asked Questions

Specific to the AI Article Writer. Broader questions about this category are answered on the category page.

Because a model given only a topic invents its own structure, and that structure is where generic articles come from. Editing four headings before generation costs seconds and changes the entire draft. If you already know the shape you want, replace the outline entirely — the writing pass follows what you approved, not what it suggested.
One pass typically yields 800 to 1,500 words depending on the outline and the provider. Write more continues from the end of the current draft rather than starting again. Quality degrades after a few continuations, so if you need 4,000 words, generate section by section with a tighter outline instead.
No. It has no web access from this page and writes from what the model already contains, which means it can state something confidently and be wrong. Any figure, date, price, statistic or quotation in the draft needs checking against a real source before publication.
Publishing unedited model output at scale is what search guidance classes as spam, and that risk is real regardless of which tool produced it. Drafts that get edited, fact-checked and given genuine first-hand detail are not the problem. Treat this as a first draft, not a finished page.
Google Gemini's free tier generally holds structure best over long output. Groq is noticeably faster and good for iterating on outlines. OpenRouter varies by whichever free model you point it at. Switching provider takes a few seconds, so try the same outline on two and compare.
